A rifle built for an Annual Award of High Honor for a group in Maine known as
the Ancient One’s of Maine. The Award is going to be known as the “Cuitlahac
Award” and will be passed between deserving members.
The gun itself is really just a collection of donated parts cobbled together to
make the perfect piece for this some what humorous Award. It has a 42″ 7/8″ .50 cal Green Mountain barrel, a Chambers Dale Johnson lock, random hardware and an Issac Haines style patchbox all set into a maple stock. The rifle weighs in at 8 1/2 lbs.
The first recipient of the annual award was “Nitwit”. Given out at their fall
rendezvous.
